Women in Public Service at the George Bush School of Government and Public Service invite you to join us for a night of fun with lasting impact.

All proceeds will support an under-resourced school in the Bryan College Station community, helping teachers purchase essential classroom supplies for the upcoming school year. For many children, something as simple as having their own notebook, working pencils, or updated materials can completely change how they feel walking into a classroom. When students have the tools they need, school becomes a place of confidence, dignity, and opportunity instead of frustration or limitation. Small resources can spark participation, strengthen peer interaction, and build a child’s belief in their own potential.

This effort reflects the spirit of Barbara Bush, whose lifelong dedication to literacy and education centered on the belief that opportunity begins in the classroom. By investing directly in students and supporting the teachers who guide them, we are carrying forward her legacy in a tangible and local way. Through service rooted in compassion and action, we hope to honor her commitment to expanding access to education and empowering future generations.
